Things are quite different today as I’m sure you’ve heard the news that we lost Stevie B yesterday afternoon. Stevie was a kind, selfless ambassador of the music and the dance and will be greatly missed. He and I shared some good times, deep conversations and lots of laughing in which I will forever cherish. Stevie was a deeply devoted husband to his wife Mrs. Teresa or as he called her “baby girl”. Music was in his soul and he strived to deliver it in the purest form he knew to his listeners in hopes they too would be moved by it the way he was. Stevie never got in the way of the music, he always kept it the main focus. I ask you to remember his wife Mrs. Teresa, his family and the Surf family in your thoughts and prayers. Stevie’s smile, positive attitude, infectious laughs and our morning talks will be missed.
