The Celebration Events Begin! There are 4th of July celebrations everywhere and beach music bands are playing these events. I am looking forward to the Independence Day blowout at the Spanish Galleon in North Myrtle Beach! 3 Big Events starting Friday Night with Band of Oz, Saturday Night with The Entertainers, and Sunday Night with the Tams! I am sure I will be dropping by the OD Pavilion in Ocean Drive on Sunday afternoon to catch Jim Quick & Coastline.

We are starting a busy & fun week of July 4th celebrations on Thursday in Oakboro NC at 8:30…….. Friday night in Faith NC at 7:00…… & then Saturday in Pilot Mt. at 5:30. Come celebrate Independence day with the Fantastic Shakers! These are ALL very good concerts! We can’t wait to see family & friends!
“BigTime” is starting off on Saturday, July 2nd at Deckerz Bar & Grill in N Myrtle Beach, 8-12, then Sunday July 3rd in Pittsboro, NC for their “Summer Fest” event from 12:00-9:30 PM, celebrating America’s Independence with the main part of town blocked off and a large stage brought in. There will be many vendors with crafts, food, etc. There are other bands playing early with “BigTime” closing out the evening from 7-9.
Fireworks tonight and Sunday at Carolina Beach — 9pm each night. Come join us at Olde Salty’s Sunday afternoon. Shag lesson at 4pm and shagging and linedancing at 5pm with Big Bopper Bernie Braak playing great tunes. Then at 9pm, out on the deck or go over to the pavilion to watch the fireworks.
Thur June 30th Alive After Five 100 E Main St Downtown Lincolnton in front of the historic courthouse. The Catalinas 7pm on the bandstand. Carolina Beach Party’s Johnny B gets started at 6pm and will play during the band breaks. My buddies Joe, Chester & Brandon from Standard Distributing will have the Anheuser-Bush Beer Station open at 6 PM. Food Vendors. Restaurants will be open in the downtown area. Free Event. Free Parking. Bring your chair. Come Early! In case of rain. This event will be moved to the Farmers Market about two blocks away 225 W Water St Lincolnton.
Fri July 1st Friday Night Live Downtown Belmont Main Street @ The R/R Tracks. The Tams on the bandstand 7 PM. Carolina Beach Party’s Johnny B gets started @ 6 PM. Food Vendors, Beer/Wine Station, Restaurant’s Downtown, Big 50/50 Raffle. Free Parking, Free Concert. Come Early! FIREWORKS after concert.
Fri July 1st “FNL AFTER PARTY” @ The Loft (above Friends Restaurant & Bar 16 N Main St Belmont). Jeff Foster will be the DJ @ The Loft tonight beginning around 8 PM. Steve will be playing all your favorite shag and line dance tunes. Great Food & Drink Specials. Brenda Shelton and Kristina Collins will be our bartenders. $2.50 Bud, Bud Light, Bud Select.
